Hire a moving company: Having a trusted local moving company by your side during the moving process can save you and your family the stress and worry that comes with organizing a self-move.

How is my cost estimate determined for a local move?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions we get. Cost estimates are determined based on the time is takes to execute the move, from start to finish, the number of rooms you’re moving out of, and if there are any specialty items you’re moving. In other words, if we average a two hour move, you’re moving from a 3 bedroom house into a two bedroom apartment, and you’re moving a piano and several large pieces of furniture with you, these would be the criteria we would utilize to put together a cost estimate. Additionally, we may have for the number of boxes you plan to move. Give us a call to find out more.
Are my things and my home insured during a move?
We carry insurance for our movers, our moving equipment, and your belongings. Anything exemptions or items not included under our insurance will be explained to you prior to the move. Even with our insurance in place, it’s still a good idea to make sure your valued items are listed under your home insurance/renter’s insurance and you have them appraised prior to the move. This puts you in the best possible position to recover any losses in the event that something does happen during the moving process. We’re happy to answer whatever questions you have about our insurance and how it works.
